Dave Miller started the Dave Miller Costume Shop in 1923 in downtown Milwaukee. Mr. Miller was fond of saying he started with one sewing machine and 2 bolts of fabric, one red and one white, to make Santa Claus outfits.

Oh Boy, What a mess! This place is just awful, weird employees who don't know jack about anything, odd hours (who is only open for a couple of hours). Way,Way,Way! To expensive to rent costumes and they are not great looking when you do take the plunge to rent the costumes. I'm actually quite surprised this place is still in business honestly.

Give these people enough notice, and you can get just about anything designed. You get what you pay for. We rented out Darth Vader for a fun engagement piece for my company's black tie Gala at the Pfister, and we had people thinking we had booked THE Darth Vader. If I circle back to this review in time, I will add a photo.

Love this place. Great place to buy quality makeup, as they carry the Ben Nye line of makeup. I am a trans-woman who recently started to transition. The staff is very friendly, non-judgmental, and helpful in helping you chose the right makeup.

I received excellent service purchasing my first Santa beard. They were curtious and took time to answer every question and there was no pressure. Thanks to my Santa coach and friend, Paul, who also introduced MAC's to me, I will be returning often!
