We are located at 910/914 King Street in Jacksonville Florida in historic Riverside/Avondale. Currently, we have 204 beers on tap and over 1000 different bottle varieties in multiple vintages. Our draft list is changed and updated daily and it features beer, cider and mead from many different breweries, styles and vintage offerings from around our city, state, country and world, including 24 beers from Belgium on tap in our basement. With 204 offerings on tap, there is certainly something for everyone.
Review & Rating
The food here is good however, I probably come here every week & the service is almost always next to terrible. Always takes 5+ minutes for a server to come over, 15+ to get water. No refills. Apps & food time are always 30+ minutes, even if it's dead. I'll order delivery to avoid having to be waited on & half the time my order comes wrong. Good food, just barely worth the wait.
Love this place! If it's beer you're looking for, then you've found it... In abundance! Staff here are super friendly too. If you're local, grab yourself a personal locker in the vault room!
Honestly I loved our server Danielle Bacheller. She was attentive and so understanding about our order. Now for the order... the kitchen needs work. End of story. Bottom line... my food was great my partners was less than average but Danielle took care of it professionally. I appreciate her and her devotion to this restaurant.
It was our first time here and the service was amazing! The daytime bartender Mark was exceptional and so was the kitchen manager. Our food was hot and well seasoned. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Love it! Going back for dinner and drinks. Lunch was fabulous, the menu is quite large and beer selection is huge. The decor is like none other before - made me itch to explore.

This place is great. They have a huge beer and food selection!!! Also the architecture is awesome. The staff varies in competence but otherwise it is a great place to go. The food always comes out hot and delicious. The beer is always cold and fresh. I would highly recommend this place if you've never been.
Food was not very good and they were out of half the items we wanted. It's a good place to get a beer, but again, they were out of a lot of beers on the menu that we wanted. Atmosphere is great but it can't overcome the negatives anymore for me.
I’m going to give it two stars because the first time was great. No problems. I went for an office dinner and we were seated relatively quick. We waited for our server for 30 minutes before we finally asked for someone and then she took our orders and brought the drinks and she never came back. After an hour and a half of waiting only 75% of the party got their food and only 25% of the people found the food edible. I was one who never got my food and since I had been there for two hours and had to leave, I ended up telling her to cancel the whole thing so I never even got it to see if it was edible. Speaking of, we never saw our waitress again after drinks until we asked another waitress to find her (we Hadn’t seen her for an hour). She didn’t apologize either. My boyfriend got sick from the food too. Such a let down because I actually liked it the first time and this really just ruined it. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.
Kickback's is a truly authentic pub. The interior design is masculine, unique yet cozy and warm. Beer selection is unmatched. Menu is a typical pub fare. Service could be more organized but is capable. Very good experience.
