One visit to Mercer's PT clinic helped resolve a chronic ankle injury I have been dealing with for 10 years!!! qI have been dealing with the same ankle pain since 2008 following an injury in the Army. Numerous Army doctors and specialists have seen me over the years, but to no avail. Finally, I went to see Dr. Lynch at Mercer's PT clinic. Within one visit Dr. Lynch had diagnosed what my issue was, and prescribed an exercise plan that fixed my problem. I highly recommend the Mercer PT clinic!
I have sought treatment and pain relief for a host of issues that never seemed to go away from all kinds of practitioners for several years (acupuncturists, chiropractors, herbalists, massage therapists, etc.). Tim at Mercer PT was the first to help me actually understand where the pain has been coming from. Not only is he fantastic at helping alleviate it on the spot when needed, but thanks to him, I have learned how to take ownership of my pain and how it connects to my own posture and motion. It's far sustainable than just showing up at someone's door expecting them to fix it.
I began going to Mercer in order to correct my neck from leaning forward. The treatment I have received from the therapist there has beyond improved my misalignment. I highly recommend Mercer Clinic to anyone with pain or issues with alignment or strength.
We just came from visiting Dr. Jeff Traub, the surgeon after just 3 weeks of PT at Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic after my wife's quad tendon repair revision. He is so pleased with her progress that he jumped the flexibility of her brace three levels! We love Dr. Tim and Dr. Ray at Mercer and Dr. Jeff Traub at Sports Medicine.

Tim and Ray at Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic are miracle workers. I was referred to them by a dear friend in the PT field and the help they’ve given for my hip and shoulder has been amazing. And they are nice folks, to boot. I’ve since referred them to several friends and colleagues and they too have expressed their satisfaction. Highly recommend.
I am pleasantly surprised at how "personalized" my therapy program has been. I was very apprehensive , as I had experienced some significant unexpected pain prior to my surgery- and had become very "guarded" as I feared that any movement other than basic walking etc may cause more pain. Raymond's evaluation was very thorough- and he has been able to direct my therapy very effectively as my confidence has increased. I have also learned a lot about core stabilization. I was in physical therapy with another provider prior to surgery. I have found the approach at Mercer to address more specific personal issues in a detailed manner that focus on core stabilization, and reduction in post operative pain and increase in range of motion.
This is why they are the best!!!! Tried PT in the past, which made me worse, as I have cervical spine issues with a torn biceps tendon. Walking was the only exercise I could do with a history of always being quite active. Surgery had been recommended by one Neurosurgeon, then a different one referred me to MPTC. I was quite skeptical until I met Tim McMahon and Raymond Lynch. I now swim, do water aerobics and workout at the gym. Tim and Ray are exceedingly professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and remarkably kind and patient, as physical improvement takes time and effort. I tend to do things to the extreme. They immediately surmised that attribute and always tailored their strategy to my benefit. I don't believe you will find a better experience anywhere, when it comes to finding a Physical Therapy Clinic.
I received recommendation to see Tim at Mercer PT Clinic from my boss for my rotary cuff partial tear and frozen shoulder combo. I've been at Mercer PT close to 4 months now and they are the best! Tim and Ray are the dynamic rockstar PT duos at the clinic and they really know their stuff. They really listen and are thoughtful in the personalized therapeutic regiments that they prescribe. I talked to them about the additional exercises that I do at home and they watched me like hawks to ensure that I am performing the right exercises with the correct body positions. One of the best recommendation that I've ever received from my boss!
As a marathoner and triathlete, I have used physical therapy services across the country. By far, the Mercer Physical Therapy Clinic is the best clinic in which I have ever received care. Dr. Timothy McMahon, Director of the Clinic, provides superb care and offers individualized attention that you rarely get at other clinics. His entire staff, including clerical staff and residents, do whatever is necessary to make the care convenient for you and to address your specific needs. I have referred many other runners, family members, friends and colleagues and each have shared my enthusiasm for this clinic. Dr. McMahon recognizes how difficult it is for working adults to get time off during the day and will accept patients as late as 5:30 pm on some days, which is a huge help with busy schedules. As a new patient, you generally can be seen in a number of days. The clerical staff works with you to assist you with insurance claims. I highly recommend Dr. McMahon and the staff at Mercer.
