I have had the pleasure of calling this place home and where my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey began in 2011. I have had the honor of training all over the world because of my military background, but it was hard finding a gym like this one. Shawn is one of the most welcoming individuals I have ever met and a genuinely good person. He has an abundance of knowledge that he is willing to share and make sure you understand. If you have a problem with the technique he is willing to work through it with you until you get hit it with perfection. If he can't answer your question at the moment, he will get back to you with that answer as quickly as possible. The atmosphere in the gym is also one of the best. People from all walks of life come together and truly to make each other better. Love to compete. If you are looking for a home in New Orleans or need a place to train while traveling, this is the place to go.

Legit BJJ!!! I trained gi and nogi there while vacationing, everyone was super nice to me and my lady... good, tough, legit training. Shaun is well versed in both sport Gi BJJ and modern nogi footlocker game, and everyone was real friendly! I'll be back, for sure. I would be happy to train there fulltime! I didn't try any other gyms in the area, and I will continue not trying any other gyms when I go back. "Oss."

Cool guys was in town for vacations and decided to swing by and join open mat Thursday morning rolled with a purple belt and then nogi with Cody and the coach everybody was welcoming and got a few tips from coach ,thank you guys

Incredible coaching with a great group to train with. In town for the weekend and Shawn and the team have been beyond hospitable. They all made me feel like I was still at my home gym.
