Atlanta Discovery flights are great for newcomers. They include an informative pre-flight briefing to discuss what the pilot will be doing, things to be checked, and other important responsibilities. After the briefing, the pilot takes you on a 25-30 minute flight during which, if you are deemed ready, you might be allowed to fly the plane over Atlanta for 5-15 minutes.
