I purchased a fully loaded ford flex from Derek in January 2019. I was looking for a rare set of features and he had it. He’s got a good eye for picking out the best examples of every make and model. The whole buying experience was pretty smooth. Derek is very knowledgable about his cars and gave me a really good walkthrough of the flex. He’s a car guy, not a pushy salesman. He knows his cars and only keeps quality inventory. I’ll look here the next time I go to buy a car.

In the matter of one week we ended up buying 2 cars off of Derek. Found a great 2016 MDX for my father in law and while we were there buying the acura I fell in love with a Tesla. Drove back the following weekend to buy the Tesla, this is a 6 hour drive from my home and it was well worth it. Derek was honest, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions. This will not be out last purchase from The Chicago Auto Warehouse. Best vehicle purchasing experience I have had by far.

I can't possibly say enough about this place and my experience. I bought a Tesla from them after shopping the car nationwide for more than a year. I finally found a car that had all the criteria I was looking for. Derek promised me from the outset that he'd make the deal work. He was attentive to every detail, knew his stuff inside and out, and bent over backwards to make the deal work. So the whole "sale" part of the equation went great and without a hitch. But it's what happened AFTER the sale prompted me to give this place five stars (if there were more, I'd give it more!). There was a mechanical issue with my vehicle that I discovered a few days after the sale. I called Derek and explained it to him and he promised me that he was going to do whatever it took to make it right. He stayed in constant communication with me (dozens and dozens of texts and phone calls!) and went above and beyond to help me through the process. Sure enough, he took care of it just like he said he would. As if that wasn't enough, there was a small issue with my plates and registration of the vehicle, and he drove down personally to the DMV to work it out for me. I have to admit, I have always bought my cars from big dealerships and was initially apprehensive about buying from a smaller "boutique" dealership, but I can say this with every ounce of conviction I have: This was the best car-buying experience I've EVER had! Derek is a man of his word and he has my loyalty from this day forward. I would absolutely recommend CAW to anyone who wants to get into a high end vehicle. You'll know what you're getting, and you'll know it's backed up with integrity.

Until Derek and Chicago Auto Warehouse, I hated the entire car buying experience. I am a huge car fan, but going through the typical dealership experience was always one of the most stressful and frustrating processes. But with Derek, I finally realized how buying a car should have been done all along. You find the right dealer to buy from (CAW/Derek) and then everything goes so much better. I sent an email to Derek at CAW initially telling him that I found him on Yelp and was very impressed by his stellar reviews, which I had never seen before for any car dealer. He called me back and we started talking through what we were looking for. We went to his dealership the following weekend to talk to him and get a sense for how working with him would be. He is such an easy person to work with, he is honest and transparent, and he wants to help make you happy, and will help you figure out what it is that you want. We started thinking we wanted another SUV, but what we ultimately realized after talking with him was that we did not need an SUV. So we started looking at sedans, and once I old him what we were looking for, he was able to pull an amazing deal together for us. He never pressured us or rushed us, he fixed the front bumper on the car for free even with the great price we had already, and we were able to finalize everything once we were ready in 30 minutes. I will be calling Derek for our next car purchase even if we are not in Chicago, as it is more worth it to me to work with people who care and respect you, then finding the best deal. Derek and Alex, you both run an amazing establishment, and you have customers for life in us!
