Sun Auto Service is a family-owned and operated auto repair and maintenance company. We opened our first auto repair shop in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1978. Since then, we’ve expanded to Las Vegas, Nevada, and Austin, Texas, opening multiple shops in and around those areas. We work hard every day to earn your trust and to keep your vehicle running like new.

They fixed my car quickly, after giving me a ride so I wouldn't have to miss any work, which I very much appreciated. Price seemed reasonable as well.

I came here with an appointment thinking I had one problem told by my dealership so I went looking for a cheaper price then after over an hour waiting they give me a laundry list of things I need fixed totaling well over 3k then I explained to the person I didn't have the funds and would seek a second opinion from the dealership just incase. Gives me a look and ask again why I'm there then after making me feel even more inadequate proceeds to go to the back and tell the tech I'm going to the dealership and I can hear them laughing threw the door...FYI not everyone knows a lot about cars and you as a business shouldn't make people feel uncomfortable for it ...I will never return and tell everyone I know who seeks auto work to stay away

Haven't personally used their service but I've brought my friend here on two occasions her car broke down, one was for over heating and another it wouldn't start. They are friendly and will explain to you what's going on clearly. Pricing is very fair and competitive. Some mechanic shops are sketchy, and try to nickel and dime you. Sun Auto is upfront and detailed, would recommend.

Came in got my car service got out same day service. Only draw back is that they'll prioritize phone calls over actual in store customers. So if your the next person your not really next in line.

You asked for detail and feedback: I was overcharged for the price of the head light assembly. Nearly twice as much as the value of said part. While the service was fast, efficient, and courteous it was not of high quality. The alignment on my new headlight is not properly focused, it is angled in a direction that is casting a shadow. I was told the hourly rate of labor for mechanics was 149/hr. If that were true I paid for 1.5 hrs of labor, and from the time my vehicle left the lot to the time it was back in park outside, it was 45 minutes total. You could justify this by saying that two mechanics worked on my vehicle, however, it is a job that can be handled by one person. My outside bumper was also reattached incredibly more loose than it came in, and while it did sustain some damage from a minor collision, it did not sustain enough to prevent it from being manipulated for other repairs. Thank you for your customer service, I will not be returning.

Wait time 5hrs for a oil change and no call back when the car was ready. To top it off looks they took my challenger for a joy ride according to the miles and they also chipped my driver door. The manager and cashier are both a peice s**t claiming they didnt damage my car. It's obviously the driver side so that's why I noticed it right off the bat. I STRESS TO ALL DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE AT ALL. TAKE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

I had one idler pulley fail, thought I was getting both replaced since bought 2. They only replaced one and said they would charge me another hour labor to replace the second. Both are easy to replace and should have been done at the same time. Will never do business with again. Update*: now they falsely claim I only want one replaced. I told them in person I bought two because both require replacement.The part numbers and size for both are exactly the same. I have receipts and diagrams showing these facts.

It's hard to find a mechanic shop that you can trust, but I'm glad we've found one! We take all 3 of our cars here whenever we need something and always get a honest diagnosis. Last week I thought I needed back brakes, due to a noise I kept hearing, so I took my car right in. They drove it and checked it. Told me the brakes were fine and the noise I was hearing was from my spare tire, which was lose. So they tighten it up, sent me on my way and charged me nothing!

Took my BMW for a simple $80 oil change. Later that night my check engine light came on and my car was running really rough. It was running beautifully when I took it in. I took it back to the shop the next day. There was a hand written note on the receipt they gave me. Which was not mentioned, so I didn't pay attention to it, (that's my bad) it was an error code. Now they say I have one misfiring cylinder, and wanted to charge me $115 for a diagnostic. I said no, and took the car elsewhere. This is an awfully large coincidence. I had zero issues with my car before. Why was this error not mentioned when they handed me my keys after the oil change? I do not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle with this place ever again. I'm not completely inept when it comes to cars and I know when I'm being "duded" when it comes to car mechanics. Lost my trust. Will not return.

I really appreciate the specials that Sun Auto runs in their ads! I took Sun’s ad to Jiffy Lube and asked them to match price and they said, “Go there...we can’t match that price! “ I will have all of my automotive work done at Sun Auto because they are working to earn customers, advertising great prices and have a nice team of guys working.
