I've been dreaming of owning my own car for a very long time now & Thompson Hyundai helped me accomplish that dream. Everyone was very friendly & very helpful. My salesman Mike Hallet was great. He was patient & answered all or my questions & he helped me setup my insurance & so much more. I'm very happy & grateful that I chose this dealership to buy my first car. I would highly recommend them.
Me. Hallet was excellent he was able to explaining our options based on our financing and explained everything to us. He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. Normally I expect buying a car to be a stressful event, but Mr. Hallet did en excellent job reducing the stress by explaining everything to my wife and I.
Me. Bowen assisted with explaining all of the technology in the car and all of its features. He took the time to answer any of our questions and made sure we understood all of the features the vehicle had. He explained the infotainment system in great detail and want through all of the settings with my wife and I. He was very knowledgeable of all of the vehicles features and went above and beyond to ensure that my wife was comfortable with the features included with the vehicle.
I researched about 20 SUV's and cars. The one that fit me the best was the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate. It had all the features I was looking for and I was extremely comfortable in it.
Brian Thrift an Joe Sweitzer were key in my purchase from Thompson. Brian was essential in highlighting all the features of the vehicle as well as understanding my needs in a SUV. Brian also explained the differences with the other vehicles I had considered. Thus confirming I had made the right choice for me. They did not have the color or the package I was looking for on site. Brian and Al went through hoops and found me one, getting it from a Salisbury dealer that night. Joe as always, ensured me that I would be receiving the same level of service I did with my Jeep, that I also purchased at Thompson.
As a IT Service Delivery Director it was nice to see the same level of customer service that I provide to my partners and customers. It was a critical part in me purchasing from Thompson.

Steve was on his game today. Although I was told yesterday that I would need to leave my car, upon arrival Steve assured me that was not the case. It only took them about 30 to 35 minutes to complete the maintenance that was needed on my vehicle. I definitely will use this location for future services.
Best price was at "least" $1500 higher than what it should have been - took advantage of the fact my wife wanted to get something done quickly. Rushed through the process avoiding questions, and always claiming someone else had the information/responsibility. Have a lot of staff looking for vehicles and should have been an easy recommendation but now tell people that I love the car, but get it from somewhere else.
Posted experience online - had someone contact quick. Person had the audacity to claim they lost 1K on the car and they were going to try and do something for me but there was no room and I got a "steal". I corrected him on the math and then *crickets*. They went from me being neutral to actively negative, and its already cost them a sale
Will Never Go There Again. They Cancled My Free Oil Changes for Life because I Didn't Purchase a 15,000 Mile Check Up When My Car Only had 13,475 Miles On It. They Don't Stand Behind Their Warranties
Chris Bowen was the sales person that I worked with in purchasing my new Hyundai. He's very friendly, has a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. I first came in looking to purchase the Santa Fe and test drove the vehicle, but left the dealership knowing it was something I wouldn't enjoy owning.
Days later, after some research, I looked into the 2019 Hyundai Sonata Sport. Instead of contacting Chris and setting up an appointment, my wife and I drove over to Thompson Hyundai. We saw Chris as we were walking in the showroom. He recognized both of us, greeted us with his friendly smile and told him I wanted to test drive the Sonata. Chris took my information and gave us keys to the vehicle to test drive. During the test drive, I knew that this would be the car I wanted to purchase.
The entire car purchase experience was great as there was no pressure or sneaky sales tactic. The people at Thompson Hyundai are very friendly and make you feel at home. I would definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from them.
We are repeat customers with Sam Gibson and as always, this was painless and quick. Sam always has our best interest at heart and we feel that he truly cares about us and our experience. Two days after our sale, Sam called us to make sure everything was okay and to see if we had any questions. Sam is TOP NOTCH and we will continue to work with Sam for future deals.
The owner, Mark, is very rude and unhelpful, don’t go there unless you want to waste your time and money. I regret even stepping inside the store!!!
Visited this dealership with my step daughter after an initial visit by her and my wife. The salesman was professional, and typical of the car buying process of getting customers to buy cars... So I would recommend this place, just prepare yourself for the financing battles..
