Review & Rating
This university is good a place to study and be productive, the knowledge learn is truly works.
It was awesome to attend the university of Baltimore.
Great school with great opportunities. They give you the knowledge and skills to prepare you, and it's up to you to make something happen.
UB is not listening to students regarding the invitation for the speaker for the commencement speaker.
I love UB. With all this talk about the US & Cuba, I wish I was in Dr. Stone's International Business course. It was one of my favorite classes. Dr. Williams' (advanced accounting), Professor Lynn (Intermediate Acct), Professor Nuyen (Finance), Professor Korb (Income Tax), Professor Singal (Statistics), Professor Rocket (advanced writing) courses were some of my other favorite professors!
This has been the worst university I've ever dealt with! Their response rate is bad, they told me 3 different things about my admission, they told me I had to pay through my home school but then I was charged through them with a LATE fee, and much more. I am really frustrated with this school and I am so happy that this is not where I got my full education from (only took one class with them).
Response time is so slow. I’ve applied a while back for fall 2018 and every time I called they say “ by weekend “. I’m still waiting on that weekend to come.
UB was my first choice but did not receive the academic support or mentorship you would expect to receive from an advisor. Enjoyed the program and was expected to graduate this December. Would not recommend attending online. I have not heard from anyone from the university in months in terms of the next steps. Wasted five years of my life and tuition dollars. Highly disappointed. I will send final email in reference to my grievance. If I don’t receive a response, I will email academic affairs.
On Friday of this week, I spoke with Savannah and addressed my interest in Legal and Ethical Studies. My conversation with Savannah was very professional and informative. This afternoon, I was in awe when I saw a large white envelope on my porch addressed to me from U of B. Thank you so very much Savannah, I am looking forward to meeting you and the staff members at the university.
I obtained my B.A in History from UB as well as my M.A. Legal and Ethical Studies in 2018. My experience here was one rich with enlightenment, very experienced and caring professors, and great courses. My time in graduate school here was truly a treasure, as it built upon many years of previous education in history, law, and political science. I sincerely recommend the M.A. in Legal and Ethical Studies program for anyone with even the slightest interest in law or legal history, but without the desire to become an attorney. As the director of my own history/law/civics tutoring firm, I intend to put the degree into use as an adjunct professor and continue my mission of expanding minds. Thank you UB!
