I have been calling and emailing admissions department after spending over 2 hours there on campus just to be given the wrong information or just given the run around! The people don't answer the phones, I'm currently writing this review while on hold waiting on someone to pick up the phone, it's been 32 minutes now. I hang up, call back, call different departments and it's the same thing! I surely hate that I paid the application fee that EVERYONE there was pushing/advising me to pay. This is sad.
I've heard what you people do to dogs in the name of so called research!! Forcing them to run and intentionally causing heart failure and killing them is horrendous!! You probably all get your jollies this way, watching poor animals suffer!!! you are despicable and horrible people!!! I'd like to put all of you on a treadmill and force you to run until you have heart failure and see how you like it!
Wayne State University is conducting unnecessary experiments on dogs that cause suffering and often death. After having medical devices surgically implanted into their bodies, the dogs are forced to run on treadmills while heart failure is artificially induced. Many dogs die in the experiments, but if they survive, they're killed a few months later when they're deemed no longer useful. What's even worse is that Wayne State has made no medical advances for heart disease in its 20 years of conducting these horrific experiments — yet they continue to harm dogs. Please sign our petition today to urge the President of Wayne State University to stop these cruel experiments now!
Don't attend if your christian they actively hate you for your beliefs and work to belittle you in the name of being PC. You won't find much learning going on just another den focused on building a playhouse for its students.
I have 6 classes left until graduation. When I asked my advisor what I should be focusing on now to get into graduate school he said he "wasn't familiar" with the program I'm interested in, and that I should focus on my "GPA and taking the GRE". Two seconds on the program's website and I learned they don't require students to take the GRE.
I have been having endless problems with financial aid My account has now unfairly been placed on hold AND additional late fees are being charged. I have tried calling and emailing relentlessly with only one response ever. I have done EVERYTHING that has been asked of me via email and spent countless minutes on hold just waiting for someone to pick up the phone. I am really disappointed that I wasted my time here. This institution is like a limited edition peep Oreo. The outside (the campus) is really nice. But you get to the inside and it is full of this disgusting fluff. The majority of the teachers in the fashion program are the most uncreative people. That program is there to make more carbon copy designers. Anything new or different is rejected. And god forbid you forget to drop your classes which I did in the fall of 2017. I received a letter from the head office about my appeal saying "they are sympathetic" but they want $3800 for the inconvenience. This university is a leech and if you are an artist of any kind, it is there to suck you dry to make way for the doctors and lawyers of the world.
Some of the staff you employee should not be teaching with their biased views in particular Josh Morris. If you review his facebook page he actively advocates for radical left views including but not limited to Communism. He proudly displays his membership in the local communist party. He is a conspiracy theorist and not fit to be shaping the minds of our youth. There has to be a better qualified person than this you can hire. I am currently working with others in the local Detroit area to arrange a ongoing protest for you employing such a deranged person. I will also be contacting local print and tv media to make them aware of the events. While me and another friend had children interested in attending they will now be looking elsewhere. Please take a closer look at your staff and how it can affect you and your great university. You should be ashamed for employing Josh Morris
Administration at this school is a joke. IF they answer your phone calls or emails, you just get rude responses, if any. I absolutely love my program and professors, they're the most helpful people I've ever met. The only problem is the administrators and the advisers. Mine hasn't helped me one time, so I end up emailing the director, and then he replies nasty to me because he got in trouble. Maybe if their first priority was helping their students, they wouldn't have to get in trouble.
