Yellow Umbrella Events is the Gold Standard of Wedding Planners. Lucky for me, they also happen to be in Austin, TX, where I work as a wedding photographer. Having worked several weddings without them (where the planner sent the couple out for the grand exit while I was still inside; it takes 3 weeks to hear back from the planner; or the planner asks me to shoot engagement/bridal pictures at high noon, which is the WORST possible time for photos), it is always SUCH A PLEASURE to know that Cheryl and Shea are the wedding planners. For me, this means it will be a smooth wedding that will run on schedule. Even if there are hiccups, Cheryl and Shea have this great way about them that will come up with 3 possible solutions and execute them BEFORE anyone ever even realizes something didn't go exactly as planned. More than their expertise and experience, I am always so excited to work with Cheryl and Shea for the sheer fact that I know I'm going to have fun with them. As a bride, I only wanted people around me who I got along with and were on my team. If you want that, too, set up a meeting with Yellow Umbrella Events! You'll LOVE them as much as I do!

Being a photographer, I know (sometimes more than I'd like to know) that keeping a wedding on schedule is SO essential to not only having a great event, but also for PHOTOS. Shea and Cheryl are INCREDIBLE time keepers, making sure that not only everyone is happy and not feeling rushed, but still making sure there is plenty of time in the day for you to have your photos taken including time to capture all of your beautiful details that you put so much time and thought into. Their attention to detail is outstanding. Their service is OUT of this world. They are worth every little penny of their incredibly reasonable rate. Their services will allow you to relax, enjoy your day, and know that everything is taken care of. I am always thrilled to be documenting a wedding that Cheryl and Shea are behind. I know that everything will be flawless and smooth. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

I highly recommend Yellow Umbrella for your next event! They are absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. Will make suggestions to be helpful but ultimately DO IT YOUR WAY! They can turn a Ho-hum Wedding into an Event of a lifetime. I can't imagine ever having an event without having Yellow Umbrella involved. Fantastic planner and wonderful person, easy to work with, flexible and innovative. From our first meeting to days after the wedding, Cheryl listened, adapted, solved, designed, and ultimately created the wedding my daughter wanted. Cheryl and Shea are an amazing team. They make things happen! They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. They were always just a text or a phone call away when we had questions. Shea kept in touch until the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. The resort recommended by them was 6 out of 5 stars and all my wedding guests loved it.
