The Ascent Cycling origin story goes a little something like this: Clay Allison and Patrick Cross had spent quite some time working at bike shops, both in Colorado Springs and elsewhere throughout the States. They enjoyed what they did, and they were darn good at it too, but neither of them ever felt truly satisfied.

I have been going here for years. Clay and Patrick run a great bike shop. All the employees are good honest people too. I have always highly recommended them to friends and family.

Best experience I've had shopping for a full suspension bike. Went in the other day and met with Patrick while shopping for a full suspension bike. I've been to local stores like Performance, Bicycle Village, and Criterion previously. While those were experiences weren't bad, Patrick set a new bar for professionalism and patience. He walked me through the full suspension frames and components, which components were better for specific riding style, demonstrated basic maintenance for shocks, and answered all my fundamental questions without hesitation and added data points that I hadn't considered. While I'm still shopping, its only because of the sheer expense and not the store. Ascent is definitely my pick and I'll go back when I decide on the right bike.

Super nice and helpful on the phone as in had lots of questions about Bob stroller wheel repair. I enjoyed wondering around in store and while they fixed wheel immediately. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Thanks guys!

Always super helpful and friendly. Have bought three bikes from them over the past three years (wife, son, and daughter). Little bit of everything for everyone and every budget.

Wonderful service. Even though they deal with super high end bikes they never make me feel stupid or talk down to me. They take all my concerns seriously and do a great job keeping the price down.

I went to Accent Cycling on a friends recommendation, and was not disappointed. I was greeted right away, the staff looked over my bike and even fixed a few things, made some do-it-yourself maintenance, and asked a series of good questions. They had me in and out quickly with what I need. Personally, I will be back.

I would highly recommend this business. I took my bike in for adjustment to my front and back derailers. He worked on them for a good time and even rode the bike. He was honest with me about the type of system the bike had and said I could pour money into it but it may only get 10% better. He did not charge me even for his time. If I am in the market for a new bike or any bike work I will definitely go back to this business.
