I have the subpar insurance through Baptist as an employee. I went to the Baptist health urgent care center and saw a Baptist health physician. I paid my 40 copay requested and left. A few weeks later I get a bill for 20.00 saying I didn’t pay the full co pay because the facility was out of network and my co pay should have been 60. Out of network? It was Baptist health eastpoint. I called the ridiculous billing department who said yes Baptist eastpoint is not in network. Ok so if Baptist eastpoint isn’t in the Baptist network who’s network do they belong to? This question was answered with an “I don’t know it’s just not in our network. The next day I called and spoke to someone else in billing who said that eastpoint is in network and I should have only paid for tier 1 which is 40. She said my bill would be corrected. A month later I get a notice that I have been turned into collections for not paying the 20 dollars. Sh1tty customer service, atmosphere and workplace. All around bad It’s all about the money now and less about the patients and employees. Sad.

My life long best friend was a patient yesterday into this morning and I cannot say more positive things about this place. From the patient care from the nursing staff to the responsiveness of the doctors, she was highly cared for and respected. This hospital system has a patient first mantra and it shows. I also work in health care, and know that while most hospitals try to treat all patients like they are the most important person at their facility, this one PROVED it. The nurses Liz and Heather were amazing, along with Bonnie, an Daisy award winning nurse were instrumental in her care. It was a whirlwind of 2 days and better patient care could not have been given. Thank you for such a positive experience during such an sad situation. Personal love and care was given and this facility should be extremely proud of it's staff. Shout out to the lab staff too. The little black box of answers that no one sees. Always with the answers to the providers questions. GO LAB!!

They owe me a refund and won't pay. They overbilled me and demanded I start payments immediately. I paid more than I owed. Now it's been 50 days since I first contacted them regarding my refund. "They have to review the account". On a second billing issue, they have billed my insurance a second time for a visit my husband had last year! Pay attention to your bills and EOB's

Don’t go here!!!! Nurses are VERY JUDGMENTAL AND LACK EDUCATION AND BEDSIDE MANNERS they hate their jobs and want to humiliate you while you are there. Horrible place to be and have a baby if you have similar issues which many have please contact a lawyer fast

Upon entrance the place smelled really old but the staff was excellent. They helped me adjust to a new regiment. I appreciate everything they did. 4.5 stars.

I would put a negative star if that's an option. Had pretty bad experience with their ER department. It's absolutely overcharged, which I wouldn't complain too much if they provide satisfactory service. However, the service and care you receive seem to never justify the cost. Also, the nurses are rude and they show an attitude to you. I spoke to a nurse named Amy and she hung up on me. If you end up with dealing with them, good luck

I delivered both of my babies at this hospital. Great experiences both times. Wouldn't want to deliver anywhere else. Nurses were very nice and accommodating.

They are a rip off. They charged my insurance 13,000.00 to lance a boil. They charged 1,000.00 for a drug box that wasn't used. I had a local that was charged separately. 500.00 dollar charge to put me in a cubicle wirh only a bench and curtain to change back into my clothes. Doctor was in the room 10 minutes and charged 3,000.00. Never go there. Ever!!

I have always been treated well at Baptist East Hospital. I have had several tests, CT scans, X-rays, and one hospital stay there. The doctors, nurses and staff are professional and friendly. The facility is clean and state of the art. The only complaint would be the hospital food, but what hospital has good food anyway, right? It wasn't horrible, but typical hospital fare.
