I recently had a fairly large surgery at this Baylor Surgical Hospital. From the minute I walked in the door, everyone was so nice and kind, it really was kind of unbelievable. I mean, they were out of their way nice. How do they hire so many good kind people? My wife had to go pick up kids from school...and they offered to keep her updated on my procedure via text message. I spent the night there in the ICU, and the nurses were wonderful and caring every minute of the day and night. I could not have been happy...well, I would have been happier without the surgery. Thank you to the entire staff at Baylor Surgical Hospital!!

I've been there 2 times. Once for ER visit and once for surgical treatment. Both times I received great treatment and the staff was very speedy and attentive of all my needs. For those complaining about surgeons, remember that sometimes your surgeon is not a facility staff member. Perhaps you should research the person cutting you up a bit more.

DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL.....THEY RUSH YOU OUT EVEN WHEN YOUR NOT READY...MY MOM WAS IN THERE PUSH THE NURSE BUTTON FOR HELP AND JOHN THE TECH AND NURSE (BLANCA) IGNORE HER. MY MOTHER LOVES EVERYONE BUT NEVER FELT GOOD AROUND THESE TWO EMPLOYEES. SHE WAS IN TEARS AND PAIN ASKING FOR HELP FOR 20 MINS.THIS NURSE (BLANCA) HAS POOR BED SIDE MANNERS..BLANCA SHOULDN'T EVEN BE A NURSE SINCE SHE HAS A BAD ATTITUDE TOWARD PATIENTS.

I had a very long and difficult surgery in December and they were extremely nice and accommodating to my family and pastor. I was very well taken care of by the staff and was the best stay in a hospital I've ever had in my life. I was comfortable and after a week of being in there with physical therapy included felt great and well rested when I left. The staff was excellent and was there for me no matter the time or need.

Great staff, very friendly and very professional! I highly recommend them...in fact. I'm heading back there at 1:30 pm today for the second procedure on my back! I'm in very competent hands! Thank God for their skills, their compassion & their devotion to the patients they tend to every day!

My mother had surgery yesterday morning. All the staff have been wonderful. The room is clean and really modern. Even the food is excellent. We couldn't be happier.

My mom got surgery and the nurses weren’t very caring, my mom needed help to use the restroom before they got her surgery so I asked a nurse and she seemed annoyed so I went in to help her myself and then the nurse walks in looking annoyed and snatched the iv bag from my hand. And then after recovery my mom was sent to a private recovery room. In that room the nurse was also rude and very annoyed when I asked a question, a lot of her answers were “I don’t know it’s whatever the doctor said”. My mom doesn’t speak very well English so I was there to help her out. And the nurse just kept looking at us like we were dumb. And then after that I asked for a school note and a work note, the nurse was even more bothered so she sent a lady named Pam chambers to do the shcool notes so when she walked in she responded with “so why do you all need school notes and work notes for again?” In my opinion it’s very unprofessional of her to say that the way she did,and not just that but she seemed bothered the whole time she talk to me. She kept asking questions like “so how come you didn’t take your kid to shcool again?” And basically making seem like why the hell are they even here. I felt discriminated by the staff in the recovery room upstairs because they kept emphasizing the “oh she don’t speak English” and she was making faces. Well at the end when she made the school note she emphasized the “she didn’t speak English” so her daughter was here to help. I don’t see how this mattered all I asked for a school note to say tahg I was at the hospital that day. And then at the end when she brought the school notes she said “well I hope that helps” she rolled her eyes and walked away. I honestly feel like it was discrimination due to my mom not speaking English very well. The staff was all white and they seems to be treated better then us. I’m not just saying this that’s just what it seemed like. I am left very saddened by the way my mom was treated.

Excellent service, but more importantly, excellent results. Dr Pratt did wonders for my back.

BSHFW is the finest medical care facility I have ever visited, either as a patient or a visitor. That in itself is no small statement about its facilities, its staff, the doctors and nurses who provide medical care there, the business office staff and so on. Even the food is excellent; smoked salmon (my favorite meal) two nights in a row! Unbelievable. In 2018 alone, I have been a patient of the emergency room, imaging twice for multiple procedures (MRI, CT scans and X rays), a surgical suite and a private room for two nights. The quality of care and the attentiveness, positive attitude and compassion of everyone I encountered could not have been more positive. Period. I hope to never need any surgery again. But if I do, it will be at Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth.
