great nursing care, but dont waste your time preregistering, it does not transfer and you have to do it all over again, at 4am it was hard to find our way in,all dark parking and hidden in the back, but great results, attentive doctors, very concerned about privacy, warm and friendly, thorough exit instructions, would recommend them to others

My 4-year-old daughter had a pertussis test here. The procedure is very invasive and involves them jamming something up her nose and scraping it around. She had to be pinned down and was screaming. Whatever, medical procedures suck sometimes. That's not the reason for the negative review. The reason for the negative review is this: they called a few hours later to say that the test had failed to produce a result. There was some technical mumbo-jumbo but basically the test was not positive for pertussis nor was it negative for pertussis. No result. And they recommended a re-test. We refused, since it had been so traumatic for my daughter the first time. (Btw, it turns out she didn't have pertussis.) Fast-forward a few weeks and we get a nice fat bill for $413 for having the privilege of our daughter being poked to the point of crying and screaming with nothing to show for it. If I wanted to make my daughter cry and then say "I still don't know if she has pertussis", I could have done that myself for free, thank you very much. I fought them for months on this, and then finally gave in and paid it, against my better judgment. But in doing so I promised myself that I would never go to Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Hospital ever again, even though it means traveling further to get other tests done for our children. And I promised myself that I would tell this story to every human that I could get to listen, so that's what I'm doing here. Either do not charge when a test has no results, or be upfront about the likelihood of a failed test. If they had told us beforehand that there was a high likelihood of this happening and a second test being needed, we would have refused.

I unfortunately had to spend a week in the ICU and I could not have asked for a better experience given the circumstances. The staff is wonderful and took such good care of me. I highly recommend this faculty especially for major problems/procedures.

I could not have been more pleased and satisfied with my surgical experience at Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Hospital. Under the care of my orthopedic surgeon, Dr Peter Holmes, I underwent total knee replacement surgery. From pre-registration, to pre-op, to recovery, and finally my three days in-patient, the whole experience was fantastic. Dr Michael Lozano and my nurses were extremely attentive and sensitive to my needs, and the physical therapy staff was first rate. I will be having bunion surgery in the near future and will be using this hospital with utmost confidence. I highly recommend Dr Peter Holmes and Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Hospital. Also, I am thoroughly enjoying my new knee!!!

First off I want to say I never write reviews but in this case I had too. I had my thyroid removed here and I just wanted to let you know that this was one of the BEST hospitals I have ever been too. I didn't know that it was only a surgery hospital which I liked. I like the fact that there aren't a bunch of sick people in hospital. The nurses were amazing. The best that I've encountered. From the time of checkin all the way to my release the staff and nurses were so nice. Then we go to the food......amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. This place does not have the typical hospital cafeteria food. They have dietitians preparing the food. My first day was liquids. Broth, popsicle. The next morning I had scrambled eggs, oatmeal, crispy bacon, coffee and yogurt then for dinner I had a double decker turkey ham and bacon sandwich. I also had puddings and apple sauce with pain meds. I also received phone calls after I got home from the nurses to see how I was doing. Hands down.....best place I've ever had surgery at 🙂🙂🙂🙂.Oh and I also received a thank you card from all the nurses taking care of me.

The staff was absolutely amazing. My 3yo was having tubes put in and her adenoids removed. Everybody from registration to post-op were very professional and caring. We received a thank you card and everyone signed it. I'm hoping I'm reading the names right. Thank you Joann, Natalie, Ronnie Debbie, Monica, Roxanne, Patti and Dr. Brown. Yall were amazing and made my daughter and her parents feel at ease.
