Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, Tulsa, USA, May 2024

I would recommend this facility. From the moment we dropped off our car at the free valet to the moment we picked up our car we had the BEST experience. Normally, we would be wondering around looking for the place we had to be, but not here, they provide a worker who walks with you to your sign in desk, then walks you to the pre-op room where the IV etc is done. The waiting room for family members was spacious, there were computer screens you can monitor to keep up dated on where your loved one is in the process. Then once time came to go see your loved one, you are walked right to them while they finish recovering. The nurses were wonderful, nice and patient with all the questions I had. We got a call today (Monday) to check up on how my husband was doing after surgery (Friday). Thank You to the team of folks for helping us thru what could have been a very stressful process.

This is by far the very best hospital ive ever been in. Every single staff member i encountered was polite and caring. Not one rude person. The kitchen food was excellent as well ss the staff. They worked with you if you missed meals. A class act all the way.

Trying to figure out how this hospital gets5 stars and top rated in the state. They screwed me on pain medication after surgery went into extreme spasms and pain. The nurses wanted me to take pills not use my IV but I refused and demanded to be shot up to end the pain. The next day I get to sit in a bloody gown and ask three times for my ostomy bag to be emptied. This not a top notch hospital by any means.

I'm sorry but the one-star ratings must have gone to another hospital, or they are just the kind of people who would gripe if you hung them with a new rope. I had A++++ service from pre-admission to dismissal. Everyone was accommodating and did their very best to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I hope to never have to go anywhere else for surgery because this place is top-notch! Thank you ALL (especially the 7th floor staff) for taking such good care of me during my stay for back surgery and taking care of my daughter who was allowed to stay with me every minute of my three-day stay. I would have rated higher if it was possible. GREAT FOOD TOO!

If I could leave negative stars I would! This place is terrible. My grandma had back surgery a week ago. They had to go in and fix what the doctors messes up TWICE totaling 3 surgeries in a week. She had a terrible reaction to the anaesthesia and vomited profusely. She had one nurse tell her she was never going to get better if she didn't get her butt out of bed and walk. (The doctor had told her not to because of the problems going on with her back.) They finally fixed the issue and she's done pretty good until last night. She started throwing up again. Her nurse told her "I don't have time to sit and help you I have other patients I don't know what to tell you". If this is your idea of patient care you are in the wrong line of work. I wouldn't take my dog here.

Today, had a pleasant experience, not withstanding a surgery, with my stay at this hospital. I am pleased I had my surgery here, rather than the big hospitals in town. The atmosphere was one of caring, and the whole procedure from checking in to being discharged was very smooth, almost like being in a 5-star Hotel. Thank you Oklahoma Surgical Hospital.

I had complete hip replacement of my left hip at the Oklahoma Surgical Hospital.. From the time we pulled in for the free valet service until we left two days later this is the very best medical service we have ever received. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job and were good at it. Most had been there for many years. The food was good and was always served timely. The nurses and technicians always did a great job with us and were always timely in making contact with us. We have nothing negative to say about our experience there. We would highly recommend this hospital to anyone who is going to have orthopedic surgery.
