My Duke Primary Care couldn't diagnose appendicitis even when the CT scan said "Inflamed appendics". Every time I came to the office, they did a urine test which charged my insurance for lab work.
Worst experience. Horrible place Can't match Children's Hospital of Kings Daughter
Best place to be for lung transplant. Pulmonary rehab before, during and after is key. Thanks Duke
Very poor service.. they do not take any responsibilities.. very long waiting for any treatment..if something goes wrong they will not answer your question.. they will pretend like they are kindergarten students...my reference is for Birth Center department..
I wanted to also give Duke University Hospital a shout out. As many hospital admissions to as many hospitals that I have, I feel I'm an expert. I have never received this kind of care anywhere. Every person from the valet parkers to environmental services, food services, ALL clinical staff and doctors have treated me not only with kindness and professionalism, but with genuine care and concern on how each person could make me get better and be taken care of completely. It's not certain departments or individuals showing this type of compassion and care. It has been every single one! Thank you Duke💙
A 4 hour x-ray... short version = never go to Duke ER, disappointing version = my sister had an inpatient surgery at Duke last Friday. She was experiencing complications and when she called her doc, the office told her to go to the ER for an Xray and an IV so they could see what was going on. All downhill from there. I met her there at 4:30pm, 15 min after she checked in and went through "triage" where they had zero communication or record from her doctor about why she was ...
I just want to say that in all my 58 years of receiving medical care from. Over 10 hospitals in over 3 states Durham regional provided the most exceptional care that I have ever received. I visited there approximately three weeks ago. I had chest pains and had gone to the emergency room and admitted overnight. When I say that everyone from the security guard, admissions, nurses, x-ray tech to the. doctor's displayed the most caring, compassionate" and professional care, I am not exaggerating. I was just in NC visiting but this hosp has left an impact on me and is an example of how all hospitals should provide care. B Ways
I just want to thank Dr. Nandan Lad and his team at the Duke Spine Center for dramatically improving my mother's quality of life. After months of chronic, debilitating pain, the expert and compassionate care she received during and after her surgery has allowed her to begin moving and living her life. She's smiling again and that is such a special gift.
