I am going to miss Dr. Buxton so much! I am a type 1 diabetic and I'm very picky about endocrinologists. I've had some that just rush me out or tell me things without an explanation or something I can study up on. Dr. Buxton is a very intelligent, patient, and a kind endocrinologist. He's by far the best endo. I've had. I am relocating further away and will not be able to go to him anymore but I was driving about 85 minutes each way to go to him. All my other endos have had their nurses call about instructions/results which can be a problem if you have a question. You would have to wait for another call while they asked. Dr. Buxton always makes sure to call in person. Whether it's about the results of a lab test or something more serious, he is always the one that contacts me with instructions. I bet he is super busy with all of his patients but I never feel like he is. He takes his time and answers all my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a good endocrinologist. I am going to miss him and can only hope I can find another good endo in my area.

After years of thyroid/Hashimoto's issues, I found Dr Buxton and literally saved me. No one else could get my levels straightened out. He doesn't dismiss your symptoms (no matter how weird they are), explains everything until you totally get it, answers every question and you never feel rushed. He is very thorough and truly cares.
