I've been going to Dr. Thomas C. Blevins office for a couple months now to have my routine check ups. The facility is clean and well taken care of. The staff is very polite and prompt; I have never been left in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes at a time. Have not yet seen the actual Endocrinologist; apparently the way they operate is to see the physician extender the first couple visits and then you finally get to see the Endocrinologist. If you are looking for a new practice in Austin I highly recommend Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology!

Dr. Blevins and his staff are amazing: knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate. The office is extremely well run and wait times are minimal. I recommend Dr. Blevins to anyone with endocrine issues. He's the best.

Dr. Blevins is one of the best endocrinologists I have known. I'm a doctor and when i was still in practice, I referred him my complicated endo patients. He has been a life saver (literally). When I, in later life, developed an endocrinology related health problem, I became a patient of his. I cannot speak highly enough of his ethics and knowledge of medicine. If there is one negative, it is, he is so popular that getting in to see him can be.... challenging. However, even as busy as he is, he never rushes a visit.

I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. The lady who answered my call for appointment was not helpful and very negative in her answers. She mentioned that Dr. Thomas does not take patients without referral or new patients. She said there's other doctors but do you have insurance? I replied that I will be paying cash. She replied you don't have insurance??? I said I do with a Christian Healthcare which I will get reimburse later. Then she says the clinic need upfront $ 100 and also we don't have lab, there's charges for doctor's consultation. I told her since she is not helpful and very negative with all her answers, I will go elsewhere. She casually replied "Okay" I'm glad to have called first. Call time 9.40am Oct.24, 2017
