Great Moving’s history in New York goes back to 1999-2000, when the current owners started working for local moving companies in New York. This was a great experience, not only in regards to learning the ins and outs of the business, but also to understand, why so many of residents in New York and New Jersey weren’t happy with their moving experiences.

This is a great reliable company. With just a few weeks notice they accommodated me. It was less than a month notice for my move. Every step of the way was smooth and very professional. They arrived early to my residence and carefully packaged my items. Everything arrived without a scratch to my new home. I would use them again and highly recommend them.
Best movers I ever had!!! The team of Great Moving were very efficient with all my antiques. I hired this company to move my belongings. The weather was awful. Despite the heavy rain, they did a great job and delivered my belongings safely. Nothing was missing. I would recommend Great Moving to anyone. Thank you Great Moving!!!
Every part of our move was extremely smooth. The movers arrived promptly at 8:30am and immediately got to work preparing all of our furniture to be transported. They were thorough and efficient and packaged everything with care.
I am so, so glad we hired Great Movers! It was a seamless experience of which they took great care with all of our stuff and for a very reasonable price. Most of our boxes they put extra tape on to ensure they wouldn't break open and they also wrapped anything that could have been damaged (frames, furniture, shelves, etc). When we got to our new apartment they even asked what room each item should go in. They really made what would have been a stressful day so much easier!
Extremely professional, fair, and careful. No surprise fees. We have moved several times, and this was the smoothest moving process we've ever experienced. Great service. All timing and logistical expectations met. The move went smoothly. Both customer service and on-site movers were kind and helpful. Would certainly recommend.
Professional, on-time, fast, careful and also cheaper than other movers that we talked with. On the day of the move, 4 instead of 3 guys showed up and probably that helped in doing a planned 2.5 hr same city move within 1.5 hrs. No extra or reduction in cost, so I didn't care. They brought their own blankets to wrap the furniture, disassembled and reassembled the bed, and voluntarily took some extra stuff/boxes which I had planned to move myself. Will definitely use their service next time as well.
Best movers ever! Showed up on time. They wrapped and moved everything like it was their own. And, they came in under budget. I recommend them highly.
