Do not recommend. I took my truck here for a state inspection and they told me I needed my third brake light replaced. I said okay, then they charged me over $100 for the service and then didnt even secure the light properly, causing it to leak and render the new light useless. Whatever, mistakes happen, I thought. However, today I took my fiance's car there for a state inspection as well, we did a pre-check walk for any damage to the car and then left it in their care for the afternoon. When I picked it up it was on the side parking lot with everything looking normal at the time, however while driving home the engine splash guard came loose and the front bumper they ran the front bumper over a curb, causing the engine splash guard to come loose and the front bumper on the right side to pop out. When we took the car back to them about the damage, one of the staff said "yeah this stuff happens but even if it was one of my guys, they're just going to say they didn't do it"... BEFORE THEY EVEN LOOKED AT THE CAR! They used camera footage from their low resolution camera on the front of the store that's too far away to tell what happened. Basically they damage cars and lie about it like it's their job. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!
Took my car to Lambs on Far West before going to one off Lamar. Far West staff are very sweet, but quick to tell me to go to Audi dealership because they didn’t know the problem. Stopped by Lamar shop a couple of weeks later and they were super confident they knew the issue just by my description. Left it there over night and my car was ready by the time I got off of work Monday afternoon. All of the staff at the shop are amazing, but Luis is such a doll 😇 will definitely be going back
Although I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I do not appreciate deceptive practices. I had had an issue with the battery going out once a couple days before so I brought it in for a check up. They ran the battery tests claiming the alternator was no longer working efficienctly. They quoted me then for both the alternator replacement, labor, and new tires (which I didn't ask for). I took my car two days later in for a second opinion with a different mechanic and was allowed to watch the readings. This particular party was straight forward with me saying that the readings were normal and to at least wait for a dashboard light before replacement (if the alternator were truly bad we would have at least have that indication). I have had no issues since following his advice and electing not to replace it. Sadly, Lamb's Automative meet many of the negative stereotypes surrounding auto mechanics. Additionally, they replaced my oil for 70 dollars that same day whereas at Precision it is normal 40. Do NOT go here without exercising extreme caution.
Great experience, very polite. I was stuck in a jam, because Advance Auto would not honor their free battery install pledge. Came here next door, and got it done for a very reasonable fee.
I took my car here because the tire pressure signal was on. Rodrigo was amazing and helped me understand what's going on with my car. I highly recommend this place because their service was quick, they were so nice and accommodating. After my first encounter with this lamb's location, I have decided to bring my car here from now on!
I went to this shop today with a friend. First of all the place was immaculate! The restroom was clean and nicely decorated. It didn't look like men worked there! 😊 Chris and Pat were extremely nice!
New to the Austin area and haven't found a repair shop that I trust, but decided to take my car here and I am SO GLAD I DID!! Aside from everyone being so friendly and attentive, Luis was so thorough and efficient at helping me with my tire issues in a timely manner. Even though they were busy, he had me in and out in no time. Absolutely would recommend these guys

I have been using the lambs on south Lamar for almost a year. In the past everytime I got something fixed, the adjacent part would break within days. This most recent experience my clutch went out 4 months ago, they said I needed a whole new clutch kit cost 1100. Now 4 months later I need a new clutch kit, master cylinder, and slave cylinder, basically all the parts they should have replaced the first time. No warranty, they offer to pay for parts, still 1300 out of my pocket for labor. I've been driving a manual my whole life and have never had to replace a clutch twice in 4 months. Staff is nice, Luis and Bo are awesome!
Guys went above and beyond! Aside from not having a part I needed (Understandable because it was an after market part), the experience was overall great. Painted the part I purchased at no cost, since they didn’t have it in stock. Really good dudes and seemed pretty knowledgeable.
Ended up here at 2pm on a scorching Saturday afternoon after my AC stopped working. Within 2 1/2 hours, they had the issue determined, the failed blower motor replaced, and the system recharged. Every person in the shop was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked to get me taken care of (after 2 other places I stopped at gave me attitude about not showing up earlier in the day to help me). Luis, the store manager, said "try me" when I told him I didn't think he could help me today. And he got the ball rolling to ensure my car would be fixed the same day. I've never really had an auto shop make me feel appreciated as a customer. Having them directly in my neighborhood is the cherry on top. I'll be sure to use Lamb's for any issues with my car in the future.
new tires on the CRUISER! these guys did a great job... they thought it could handle a 305 so they tested it out... we talked about the minor rub and how to fix it and then they ordered a size down at no extra charge, re-did the full set and they look SLICK. The entire team was friendly and they got the job done quickly. This is not my first visit and certainly not my last. Thanks Luis and team!
