Excellent customer service....
Whe I went to pick up my glasses, I noticed they had a scratch on one of the lence. I proceded to ask the girl why the glasses looked like that, and her response was that I couldnt ask for too much. Since my insurance was PUBLICAID. I found that horrible, unprofessional and very unethical. I decided to give the place another try, but the same chinnese lady gave me an attitude & unfair treatment...
I had a very pleasent time here. I called for on appt on a tues morning, they were able to fit me in after work. the service was fast, and the staff was friendly, they didnt have my lens that same day because my prescription is always special order. I was very pleased with the level of service and how fast i got my glasses. i recieved my glasses thurs afternoon. i would recoomend this place to friends and family
Best place to get glasses! great staff and selection of designer frames
This place is nice to your if you are the same race and nationality as them. If you are different than them in any ways, they will do much harm to you, guaranteed. I went there to get a prescription for glasses. That Asian lady doctor tried to blind me while doing a simple eye exam. Then she gave me the wrong prescription with the wrong glasses. They are the most hateful, deceptive and criminal business people you will ever come across with. Try and find out.
EXCELLENT. These people are very friendly and also very puntual with the appointments. I have been going there for glasses and contacts already for three years and it always makes me happy to go. I went once with no appointment when I had an eye infection and they made time for me at that instance! I really recommend this place.!
I've been going to this place for over 15 years for my glasses and exams for good reason... Great selection, fair prices, and attentive staff. Actually, I just picked up some new frames so I thought I'd write a review. Love my new glasses and checked on the designer website when I got home and I got them substantially cheaper than listed. My only complaint was that this is the first time I didn't get them within an hour (they have lens technicians on site). I have an odd prescription and they didn't have my lenses in stock this time so I had to wait a couple days. Just wanted to add, I see a previous post by @Jay Adams and I have to respond to it... the staff here is largely Asian (Korean I believe) but I have had nothing but fantastic service from them over the years and I am AA. Actually, this particular set of frames I got this time my service person told me was designed for Asian faces (the brand is TC Charton) but they are maybe the most comfortable frames I've ever had and they don't slip from my face like other acetate type frames I've had in the past. I've always found the staff, technicians, and eye doctors here to be super friendly and on point. I'm not sure what his experience was but I just had to say I've never experienced anything like that at this place in all my years coming here. Sounds to me like Jay maybe had some prejudice walking in the door but then again I wasn't in his shoes or there so I don't know. I can only speak to my experience. Besides that, they really do have a great selection from Oakly to Prada to Burberry to Oga and everything else in between (and then all along the wall their more "affordable" frames which aren't bad but just not my taste). I love that usually I can walk in, get my exam, choose from a selection of great frames, then have my lenses fitted by those guys behind the glass and usually within an hour. In a time when so much is purchased online these days I really love the personal touch of walking into a shop like this for something as important to me as my eyes. I don't like buying things like glasses online because the fit is really so crucial. So I hope Lawrence Vision Center sticks around for my next pair.
Will never go there again. It's really tough with the new management.
