Love this salon and love the stylist LeeAnne! So hard to find someone that can cut naturally curly hair and I am happy every time I leave here.
Got my hair styled today by Josh. Love it so much! Honestly, I usually just go to Great clips and get a quick trim, but decided to go out of my comfort zone today, and Josh blew me out of the water. He took what I typically do and spiced it up a bit, and I love it. He left me feelings super confident and really cute! Thanks Josh, and thanks Tangerine Salon!
Ok let me start by saying, Finally!!! I have been searching for a salon & stylist for almost 2 years. I have read hair and wanted someone who knew how to work with and compliment my skin with the right red colour. From the first conversation on the phone booking the appointment, I felt at ease and was pleasantly pleased with the receptionist and how kind and understanding she was. I met with Kevin Walsh today and for the first time in 2 years, I found a stylist who listened, cared about what I wanted and made me look beautiful. He was thorough and efficient so I wasn’t sitting there forever. The salon has a light and airy vibe & everyone seems to enjoy working there and are friendly.
Really had a nice experience at this salon. It was my first visit and the staff was very friendly. My stylist, Bailey, was very sweet and communicated well. It was high, but she didn’t make me feel bad about asking about the cost and cost difference in different treatments. I did pay for the deep conditioning treatment and I think as someone who bleaches frequently, it was worth the money.
I moved here from Seattle Washington and have had the same hair dresser most of my life. I first tried a few different salons in Dallas, but always left disappointed with the results or unsatisfied with the service. I decided to try Tangerine salon after reading and hearing so many great things about it. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, and the salon itself is very clean and inviting. I love what my stylist, Troy (Walnut Hill location), has done with my hair and he listens to me, which was hard to find in a stylist. I have found my new "home" salon, and I highly recommend!
Went to Tangerine yesterday for the first time. My stylist Josh could not have been better. He nailed my auburn color right off the bat ( not an easy thing to do) and gave me a trim that was better than the cuts I had been getting for years at my last salon. Very reasonably priced. Will be staying with Tangerine.
The nicest salon I've ever been to in DFW. And I mean that in all aspects that count- the overall experience, and the knowledge/expertise of their stylists. My haircut was $75. It was the best haircut I've ever received. 1) the experience. What I mean is it's a very zen environment, quiet and relaxing, lots of space, with a menu of drinks to choose from as you wait. Everything smells good. They give you an optional quick massage or a facial after your shampoo. There's no pressure, upselling, or rushing. Scheduling my appointment was super easy, parking was easy, place was easy to find. 2) the expertise of the stylists. Well I can only speak for Sarah, but I imagine they hold all their stylists to a high standard. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable about hair and took the time to get to know my hair before cutting it. She asked about my hair history, how I like to style it, what my desired level of maintenance is, what plans I have for my hair in the future, etc. She was less of a stylist and more of a hair architect. I think the pictures say it all. If you are satisfied with a one-size-fits-all haircut, go elsewhere. But if you want the best, trust me this place is worth it.
I had the best experience in the salon. Complementary drinks were really nice. I absolutely love Jill she did a phenomenal job on my hair.
I LOVE this haircut done by Nicki at Highland Village! I’ve slept on it two nights now and am still going on her styling. I haven’t had to do anything!!! I’m probably going to have to do something tomorrow or or the next day, but hopefully nothing more serious than the curling iron she recommended. I’m really dreading the first time I have to wash it! But hopefully even that will go well because this is probably the best haircut I’ve ever had! She’s a genius!
I enjoyed the experience. Had a quiet corner with troy, who was knowledgable about my curly hair. He listened to what I wanted and also offered some good advice on styling. I was a little out of my comfort zone trying a new hair salon, but felt that Troy was experienced and cared about creating a nice cut. Fairly priced for the experience level.
