Excellent venue. Acoustics are fantastic and the atmosphere is something like a mix of a standard club and a concert venue.
Beta is really fun place. The lights and EDM music are excellent. A few points to be aware of--1. They do allow sub 21 year old in to certain events. Pay attention, don't buy someone a drink who isnt supposed to drink. 2. AVOID any night they sell out. They pack people in and you really can't dance 3. Ladies, ensure you know who hands you a drink--make sure its the bartender or a friend. 4. Awareness: Police are on hand at the end of the night 5. The drinks are stiff--a plus!
I have been coming to beta for approximately 5 years consistently and never had a problem until last night. I paid over $100 to see Jauz and never got to see him because I was kicked out by the power hungry security for “being too intoxicated and pushing people” which are both not true. I had bought 2 drinks from their bartender and was in the front waiting for jauz to come on. I was dancing and then out of no where a white security guard with dreadlocks approached me and asked me to leave. I understand that beta nightclub will most likely side with their security, however this is utterly ridiculous. I am offended and so disappointed how they treated a loyal customer of over 5 years that has probably spent thousands of dollars there total. If you want to have a good time, dance and see your favorite artist DO NOT COME TO BETA NIGHTCLUB, you will get kicked out and they will blame it on being too intoxicated. By the looks of the other review from last night at Jauz, another person got kicked out for the same exact thing to allow a staff member and their group of friends steal their spot in the front. Beta your security is unprofessional and unethical. I will NEVER be coming back.
I just gotta say thank you to the bathroom attendant (I wish I could remember your name! Sorry girl😓🤗) Evie and Slim, the staff here really does care if you are comfortable and safe. If someone is making you uncomfortable they will do everything to make sure that you stop getting harassed and help you. Last night a man would not leave me alone and tried to follow me into the ladies room when i was trying to get away from him, a woman (Evie) stopped him and when I got into the bathroom I told the attendant and they got it taken care of and escorted him out. I go out to dance and have fun, not to be harassed by someone who cant take no for an answer. This venue and the people made sure that I was able to have a good time and feel safe. I couldn't be more grateful!!!! Thank you so much guys seriously!!!!
We had a great time at this club!!! The DJ was fantastic, the drinks were reasonably priced, and most importantly, the staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely be returning to Beta for dancing and drinks in the future!!!
I’m really being generous with this rating because I don’t usually write negative reviews. The constant policing of almost everyone in the crowd by security made having a good time difficult. Luckily, the music and sound system turned the experience around.
One of my favorite night clubs! It's classy without being super strict classy. There is someone in the bathrooms to help put a dab of soap in your hands, turns in your sink, and hands you paper towels. So you always have that super class feel but you can still come dressed in business causal basically. Don't have to be suited up or anything. The bartenders are super friendly and know how to pour drinks to your liking! Love, love, love this place!
I went to see jauz and was having a great time until one of the employees who was off and just at the club for the show decided to barge in front of my sister and I. So of course we both say, "hey this is our spot" and argue saying to go back to the back because we didn't want him in the way and the front was already crowed enough, but still he insisted he gets priority because he worked there. We refused to let him pull more people to the front and so he leaves and then I was pulled aside and told that your employee said I had hit him in the face.. I touched his chest at the most when he was walking by because it was so crowed. Your employee LIED and got me kicked out of a show I paid $108 for. This isn't the first time I've been to a show at beta but it might as well be my last if I'm going to kicked out because I didn't listen to one of your workers who wasn't even working that night
Have had many amazing nights. The security can be really tough, but when I lost my keys they were nice enough to go look in there lost and found the next week, mid-show. Just understand people this is an 18+ place so security has to be high to keep the doors open.
The crowd eased in as the DJ's progresses. The two floors and additional DJ stage was awesome because you could move through to a different sound if you wanted. Overall very cool place to end or begin your night! No drink specials when I went though.
The venue books great dj's, but the power hungry security and ridiculous rules kill any chance of fun. You can't bring in anything that lights up, guys who take off their shirt are instantly kicked out, and girls with clothing that's even slightly see-through aren't allowed in. If I wanted to go to a formal event I'd go to a ballroom, there's absolutely no reason for such strict regulations.
