I needed cycling shoes for my spin class and went straight to Lutherville Bike to get them. I used them tonight for the first time and they were a great fit. Jennifer really knew what she was talking about and was a great help. Would definitely recommend.
I have been a long time customer of Lutherville Bikes and can say with confidence that they are the best bike shop in the Baltimore area! I've visited many bike shops and no other shop has the variety of quality bikes , apparel or accessories as Lutherville Bikes. I have purchased bikes, wheel sets, shoes, clothing and other accessories and have always been extremely satisfied with my purchases. The quality products are a reflection of the shop owners, Ron and Jennifer. They are passionate about cycling and provide exceptional advice and guidance to ensure you purchase the right products to meet your needs. They also have a friendly service team, led by Kyle, that can professionally handle any type of repair or bike build. In addition to the above, they also offer group road rides and in shop spin classes and repair clinics. I enjoy the shop's friendly staff so I visit often and participate in many of their events.
What a GREAT shop, with FANTASTIC customer service! -- I started riding a year ago and went to a different bike shop in the area and got fitted with the wrong bike for the application I was planning for. I started to break components on the bike and took it to the shop I purchased it from weeks before and met with attitude and unwillingness to help. I decided to shop around with different shops and went to LUTHERVILLE BIKES and realized I should've went there from the start. Walked through the door and Ron was there to greet me and asked what brought me in. I talked with Kyle and the crew and they got me squared away with the right equipment. I reccomend Lutherville Bikes to anyone that even mentioned anything about a bicycle.
Purchased a Specialized Tarmac SL4 from Lutherville Bikes back in Spring, 2017. This is an amazing shop with unbeatable customer service and tons of brands that you can't get anywhere else in the area. Also - they sell Giant now! I highly recommend Lutherville Bikes to anyone interested in cycling. The team will work with you in regards to what it is you're interested in / trying to accomplish, and get you setup with a bike that you'll be bragging about to everyone you know.
I went into Lutherville Bikes looking for bike accessories for my boyfriends Christmas present. I felt very welcomed when I walked through the doors and was greeted immediately. The staff at Lutherville Bikes was very attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions in a professional manner. After careful decision and my lack of experience with bikes, I decided to settle for a gift card and leave the accessory shopping to my boyfriend. I recently started cycling. Lutherville Bike Shop has a great selection of bikes in the store. The staff is helpful in assisting you in finding the best bike for your style (road, hybrid, triathlon), sizing the bike to fit you correctly. Ron is great! I will definitely be going back for more bikes and gear!
This is my first and only choice for bike service in the area... Excellent, top-notch service specializing in custom builds, including fitting services to assure your bike setup is optimal. They also have a good selection of pre-assembled bikes and accessories ready to go. The staff are among the most knowledgable and through I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Did I mention this is my first and only choice for bike service in the area?
I had a great experience at Lutherville Bikes today. I was greeted immediately by the staff, who were welcoming and attentive. The assistance that I received from the owner, Ron, was excellent and his knowledge and passion for cycling was clear; he truly cared. I would recommend this place to any cyclist, new or experienced.
Great local bike shop. Brought in my 9 year old road bike for a major tune up and Lutherville Bikes did not disappoint. FYI - their selection ranges from entry level to ultra high end, so they have what you need. They have a full range of road, mountain, hybrid, and kids bikes. I will be returning for two beach cruisers that I saw when I picked up my bike a week ago. Kyle was extremely helpful in recommending the right services for my bike and it feels better than the day I bought it. They were also able have my bike ready within 3 days. This was not your run of the mill tune up either. They replaced or rebuilt almost all moving parts on the bike and for a great price. Being new to the area, it's great to have a great LBS nearby. They've earned my business and I look forward to coming back soon.
I've researched and dealt with many bike shops over the years, and Lutherville Bikes was one of the best experiences I've had yet. Ron and Kyle were a pleasure to work with and talk to, and they had a great selection in the store. Walked in and was immediately welcomed. Started talking about my needs and walked away a happy customer. Highly recommend.
First time in the shop today, Ron took care of me from start to finish! Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Walked out with an awesome Bombtrack Beyond gravel bike and a huge smile on my face! if you want a bike, this is the place!
