Picked up my bike today. Its been a while since i last had a tune up. Unfortunately because of my neglect my rear hydraulic brake caliper was leaking and my front wheel bearing wore a grove into the hub. Thankfully Andrew from Metropolis did a great job on the repairs and tune up. Great service, great people.

I bought my bike here last year, and they were very helpful while I was looking around. They let me try as many bikes as I wanted, and I got to ride them around the surrounding neighborhood to get a good feel for the bike that I wanted. I've also brought my bike in since then for a tune up and flat repair, and they are always friendly.

This local bike shop is right around the corner from our house - and they are as helpful as it gets! We go there every few months with our son, bought our bikes there, and their service is always top notch. Whether we need something as simple as a tire inflated, or a full tune up on our bikes, or some new equipment - the staff at Metropolis is always super helpful, and go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need.

Metropolis is a stand out in local North Hollywood Bike Shops. Their range of selections are TOP NOTCH. I buy beach bikes there and the prices are competitive. The owners and staff are extremely knowledge and helpful( a rarity in this day & age) . The store hours are great & I always get street parking on super busy Lankershim Blvd.

The best bike shop! Spencer was super helpful in helping me first figure out what kind of bike I want and then figure out the best options within my price range. He had me test out three bikes and when narrowed down to two options, a/b test both a few times to make sure I knew which one was best for me. The location is off of a quiet neighborhood street, so you can take your time to get comfortable with the bikes without worrying about excessive traffic. Everyone else at the shop was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this shop for beginners and advanced riders all the same.

Do yourself a favor and go see Brad at Metropolis. They take great care of customers at all skill levels. I've purchased 2 high end bikes from them and got a great deal and service!
