Worse hospital ever. I was in a bad car accident and the closest hospital was slu. When I get there every thing was great. They rushed and got everything done as far as x Ray and CT scan. Then they moved me to a room since it wasn't to too bad. Got a new nurse. I told her I had to pee and she says we'll u can't move so use a bed pan. I tried. And i just couldn't do it. So after 10 minutes of trying she finally comes back in and I told her it didn't work. So.... She leaves the room 45 minutes later I am pissed because I have to use the bathroom. She finally comes in and say I can use the bathroom. . great .. except u guys cut my clothes off my body and I am naked. Another nurse came in and gave me to a gown and walked me to the bathroom. U heard me right. Walked. And my ankle is swollen. My whole right leg was messed up from the car accident. So nope. No wheel chair. I limped all the way to the bathroom. When I get done no one is there to help me get back to my room so I had to hold on to the wall and hopped all the way back. I asked for a new nurse because I felt like she wasn't doing a very good job. Considering noone sanitized my cuts or my wounds. Didn't even bandage it up. But of course I got ignored . Finally they discharged me. I asked my nurse if she can put some gauze over my cut on my eye. And she said it was no point. How? It's bleeding it's black and blue. So I said never mind asked for a bandaid to at least cover the cut. Of course I didn't get one. What were u guys thinking? She finally pulled it together? They didn't even bothered to show me how to get out of there. Oh did I mention the pulled me off of the ground. It was raining to. So now I'm at home sanitizing my own cuts and wounds. Went to my doctor and found out I sprained my ankle. That's why I couldn't walk.. yet my nurse says I'm fine. I don't need to wrap my ankle up. . It's sad ... I'd rather die on my way to a further hospital then get killed at a hospital with nurses that are rude and don't even seen like they want to be there. Never ever again.
Told that our routine visit was covered as it should be. They submitted insurance incorrectly, after many follow ups without any resolution or contact from their billing department they sent account to collections. Billing depart has been non-helpful and rude throughout. Nonetheless paid bill so credit was not affected. Terrible customer service and follow up.
What a great experience we had today with my mother! My mom and I are visiting and she got a very strong cold. I was worried that she wasn’t going to be able to see her primary care provider because she is 85 years old and tends to get bronchitis which can easily turn to pneumonia. I set up an appointment online, which was super easy, at the SSM Health Clinic in Glen Carbon IL. When we arrived Amanda took her into her office right on time. Worst customer service and confirmation system ever. Received a confirmation email for my sons 10:20 appointment, got to the clinic and they pushed his appointment back to 12:00 and stated that is the appointment time I made. The confirmation email clearly states the appointment was at 10:20. Made the mistake of calling customer service, what a joke that was. My daughters had a 10:40 visit, that somehow stayed the same scheduled time, 11:00 still has not been seen.
