Great place to go get a classical men’s hair cut. They are reasonably priced and have a great staff. Brian is the man to go to, in my opinion. You won’t be disappointed with any barber there.

As an out of towner, looking for a place to get my hair cut, I stumbled upon this place. The cut was really good, and the barbers know a lot about the town, so much so that they helped make suggestions of things to do in Chicago.

I go to Belmont Barbershop every few weeks to get my haircut. Their online scheduling system makes it super easy to create an appointment so I can get in exactly when I need to with little to no waiting. I’d recommend using this feature as most of the guys in the shop have a pretty solid book of business and this can guarantee that your seat is reserved. I like that they have that policy – it makes the place run like a well-oiled machine! The guys there are great – I always schedule with Greg – he’s super friendly, keeps a clean station and is always in a great mood! Every time I get my haircut I’m happy with it! There’s always solid music playing and the overall vibe of the place is awesome – I really dig going there. Be aware that it’s cash only (says so multiple places on the website but in case you missed it here it is again). If you forget there’s an ATM pretty close that they can direct you to. Always a pleasure to go to Belmont!

I started going to Belmont looking for the real deal barbershop experience... this place is it. Great haircut, cold drinks in the fridge, strait forward classic cuts, shaves and banter. I've always seen Brian, who takes walk in customers and will hopefully be booking reservations soon. Brian actually takes time to listen to what you want, then provides a high quality cut: all the nice accompaniments with a consistent attention to detail. On my last visit I had time for a shave as well and as always, Brian issued his usual 1st class treatment. All the guys at Belmont have built great rapport with the customers who are almost always on a return visit to the shop. Absolutely worth a visit next time you have any grooming needs.

I’m always happy leaving this place. Ralph has been my barber for a few months and never disappoints. Great vibes and conversation, and always appreciative that the shop takes appointments.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Very professional staff and a very chill welcoming vibe! I highly recommend getting your haircut by Brian. He's in charge of the walk-ins and is a great guy that does a killer job every time.

I've only been going to Belmont for a few months, but I've been seeing Brian, my current barber, for nearly 6 years. Way before he cut my hair at Belmont, he cut it at another nearby shop. Before that, he owned a shop in Denver, CO. and I was a regular customer there. My point is that Brian is a great dude, a fantastic barber and Belmont Barbershop is also excellent. I usually get there midday and there is always great coffee and even beer in the fridge. All of the barbers I've spoken with there are super friendly and down to earth, but Brian's the only one I know best. And if you're looking for a great haircut and a friendly environment, this is a cool shop with TVs, music and good vibes.

It's a good barbershop, the aesthetic is really nice. They have super comfy chairs and everyone there is very skilled. Once I came here before closing and I got a beer to drink during my cut. Would recommend coming here.
