Hidden gem! Very cool place to come if visiting SF, you get to taste really good cheese and learn how to describe/identify which is which. When you first walk in, you enter a little green garden/patio scene where you can enjoy a cold beer. Then you go into the cheese school looks very 'Californian'. Come here if you want the Cali feel.

If you're a cheese lover like me, there's nowhere better to learn about cheese. The class we took part in was extremely informative and tasty. The cheeses were great quality and extremely tasty. They sell all of the cheeses in the shop as well as a whole host of other cheeses from around the world. One of the best things about this place is that you can really feel the love they have for cheese and it shines through in everything they do, from their presentation, to the sheer amount of knowledge they have and the enthusiasm you're met with if you ask a question.

While we didn't do the cheese-tasting masterclass bit (which is inside and you are introduced to the cheese before tasting it) we ate the cheese from the class outside in their courtyard on a beautiful late summer day. It was really a great way to just chill and enjoy the cheeses on offer in a really relaxed setting. I wonder if they do wine pairing?

I've been coming to this place since I opened my wine bar in fremont for about 8 or 9 years. I love everything about this school. Cant wait to check out the new location at ghirardelli square. I've taken about 5 wine and cheese 101 classes, french cheeses, italian, i think spanish im pretty sure, cheese favorites and next month im taking another italian cheeses and back to the basics cheese 101. You can never have too much cheese. Highly recommend this. All of their classes are amazing. You can close your eyes and pick one. They are all that good.

Very small menu with a Cafe style of ordering. The food only took 10 min to arrive at the table and I was pleased with my macaroni but not overly impressed. The bowl was very hot to the touch and kept my food warm during my conversation with friends at the tables in the beautiful sunroom area of the restaurant. The water supplied was warm and didn't taste good at all.
