Walters has been in business in Kansas City for over 40 years, and offers group dance classes and private lessons in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Salsa, Tango, and Wedding Dancing. We have taught many thousands of people to social dance, as well as being home to many National Dance Champions.

Great floor, good danceable music, friendly atmosphere. No trips to the back office to have your arm twisted to sign a contract for more lessons than you can afford -- pay as you go.

It was wonderful! I had a great time and enjoyed watching the dancers. I even got to dance a little bit myself.

Awesome instructors, good floor and great selection of music. They will always make you feel welcome no matter what level dancer you are. This is the place to be whether for lessons or social dances!

Where do I begin? And what's not to like? You don't have to be a "dancer" to love Walter's Dance Center. It's a great place to enjoy the company of other adults having fun. Don't need a date - just bring yourself. There's no judgement, no expectations, no pressure. It's a great way to get off the couch and out for an evening of entertainment and exercise. What are you waiting for? Just do it!

Walters is by far the best dance center I have ever been too. I have only been going there for two and a half months for their every Thursday night class and I have already progressed immensely! Switching partners so you don't adapt to one persons style helps yourself and let's you make friends on the way! Marta is an amazing instructor for the experienced and inexperienced! I recommend them to so many friends because of how much fun I have every week! I look forward to the next Thursday class when I'm done with one! 5x5x5 �

I've taken lessons at Walters for more than 8 years. At Walters you'll experience world class, certified instructors. Several of the instructors have won 1st place national championships with the American Country Dance Association and Mark Harris, the studio co-owner has won the ACDA Instructor of the Year award!
