I worked at this place its very dirty they dont care about the residents a lot of residents have died one man jumped to his death from the forth floor they cover up all the deaths that happens there.

I went to visit my mom 2 days ago and saw a roach in the hall way...I spent the next day finding my mom a new facility. She will be moved out of there in the next 24 hours guaranteed!! Yuck!! Never again!! The sad thing about this was that the Social Worker saw the roach and refused to step on it and said there were over 500 patients in the building and that anyone could have brung it into the Nursing Home!! If so, the germs will be spread by that one roach and could possibly lay eggs in the building!! Really!! Wow!! Talk about Nasty!! As clean as my mom is, I will have had to remove her immediately and take off from work until I found her a new facility!!

I'm a relative of a resident I'm very unhappy with this facility the place smells the staff are rude not compassionate at all my first visit I was there for about four to five hours only one staff came to change him because he had to use the bathroom and I went to let them know he needed something they took their time to get to him he's unable to call them when he need them because he can't talk and unable to move he's paralyze I didn't see no bells where he could contact them he have a smell on his body that makes me think he's not probably getting wash up his hands and nails are very dirty his face so oily I'm so stress out right now I'm trying to move him too a better place but I'm not the power of attorney over him but thanks to the social worker trying to help me and further more each time I was there with then the four to five hours I had to go and tell someone when needed them not one time I didn't see no one check on the resident next to him so I am very concern at this point. I love my only uncle thanks to the staff Naomi his face light up when he see her she's compassionate

It is my prayer that Alden Wentworth should be shut down! As mentioned in an earlier review, I've seen roaches in this facility as well and it's no big deal. Most of the employees (especially Management)should be fired because they do not have the compassion to care for the residents in this facility. I have met about 3 compassionate employees at Alden. I have seen residents mistreated, fall and heard some unbelievable things in this facility. Why is it always in the predominantly Black facilities where things are the worst. With the proper compassionate staff, this could be a great facility. Management is focused too much on money and not the residents. If they could only realize that if they treat God's people right, He will provide every need and money will flow into this place. With the current staff in place I strongly do not recommend putting your love ones in Alden Wentworth. They look at the people as dying and I personally see life in every last one of them. Please do the research on Alden Wentworth and know that there have been many tragedies at this facility because the ratio of employees to residents is too low, therefore, creating a scenario of residents not being well taken care of. Time to shut it down!
