Iliff Preschool, Kindergarten, and School-Age Summer Camp has been a mainstay of southeast Denver for over five decades. Serving University Park, University Hills, Washington Park, and the Colorado Boulevard business corridor, the “nursery school” was founded by Harriet and Garwood Andresen in 1963. They named the first building at the corner of Iliff and Ash, Iliff Play School, and in 1963, the first class commenced with an enrollment of 6 children.

My son was enrolled there!!!! Staff was wonderful. Everyone was wonderful in how they handled his medical condition when it happened at school! I could have not asked for a better place to take care and teach my son.
We met Mr. and Mrs. Andresen just a few nights ago at a restaurant. They are truly passionate people and LOVE what they do! Chas told us all about the airplane and its backstory. This place is very special and will likely create lifelong cherished memories for kids!
