This place is great. They have definitely earned my trust and respect over the last few years of living in Decatur. There are been a couple times when my car appeared to be having serious problems, like when a loose gas cap apparently caused my check engine light to come on, and the folks here--rather than extorting me with some unnecessary repair like many places would have done--diagnosed the problem and made the simple, quick fix for free. In so doing, they've earned my business if ever I have real trouble.

My 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 was in terrible shape when I first brought it in. First, I had Brian and his team replace the front wheel bearings and rear brakes. After test driving it, they literally went over my drive train with a stethoscope to track down a noise that was still bothering them. This level of attention to service is worth the world to me, and I agreed with their diagnosis of a bad differential. Intown Autocare presented my options with reasonable estimates and, based on the age of the vehicle and amount of use it gets, we decided a rebuild would fix the problems. My truck has been driving beautifully for a few weeks now and I'm looking forward to bringing all my vehicles back to them.

I've relied on Brian for all car related services for several years. I trust his opinion on repairs, as well as open consultations on car purchases. His team is knowledgeable but his attention to detail and standard for quality seems to rub off on the people he hires - honest, friendly and has your best interests at heart. Couldn't ask for a better brand of service

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! Just an unprofessional environment. My car was towed here and after i left an appt, i came to pretty much make sure everything was good @ 9:15am. Front desk guy brian says he would have a diagnosis by “late morning/early afternoon”. So i head out and by 3, i still haven't heard anything. So i called and after calling LITERALLY 7x, by 4:45 i got an answer. He puts me on hold for 11minutes and eventually hangs up. So i call back, he says the alternator belt came off (which i was expecting that) and that i needed a new alternator and brakes and rotors, but he doesn’t have any numbers. So i’m thinking... can you ballpark or even.... i dont know.....find out?... you work there, not me. So my dad calls and he says brian said $560 for alternator and new belts. Fine. Im prepared to pay the next day. I took off of work & called for 3 hrs straight (8 times) on the anticipated day of pickup. So I Uber back to decatur from Kennesaw & get there @ 5:15. brian says my car isn’t ready and it’ll be done the next day. So at this point, i’m upset. I ask him why he wouldn’t think to call the customer to get an okay to begin repairs and also what time the car will be done b/c i’m tired of wasting my time coming from Kennesaw to go to them. He told me to just take my car back. So i gladly took my keys and Meineke fixed it (& gave military discount). It was just an unprofessional body shop and experience. They never answer the phones and brian’s attitude is one like no other (not in a good way). USAA recommended them to me and that was a big mistake & waste of time.

After having our car serviced elsewhere and our automobile's problems were not solved, we decided to have our car checked out right down the street in our new neighborhood of Oakhurst. Intown Auto Care is simply the best. They found the problem causing the issues that the other mechanics missed entirely. Go see Brian at the front desk. He's one of the nicest, most honest people and will take care of you!

USAA recommended this shop for service. My 2013 sonata had no power whatsoever and had it towed here. Brain was very kind and professional and had my car ready by Tuesday morning (I dropped it off Friday but they are closed Saturdays and sundays).

Brian was incredibly helpful - I called at noon on Friday and he was able to get me in & out before 6 pm on the same day. They did great work, and it was very reasonably price. This will be the first place I contact for any future repair.
