I first came to their shop when my 16 y/o Jaguar XJ8 dumped all it's radiator fluid on the ground. I am new to town, having moved in March 2018. The tow truck driver suggested I take it to The Shop Automotive. Jason was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. There aren't many shops that can even understand my car, let alone fix it. I'm lucky to find such an honest, transparent and reliable mechanic shop. I'm never taking my car anywhere else. I know he will take care of my car, so that I can keep enjoying my Jaguar for many years to come. I'm about to buy another car, and he will be doing my final inspection before I buy it. You can trust them with your favorite ride, they really care! And they do the best job ever!!
These guys are awesome! I've needed The Shop a couple of times now. They're excellent mechanics, very detail-oriented, and honest as well. They seemed genuinely more interested in helping me to evaluate my options than trying to sell me anything. If you're looking for good, honest, affordable mechanics in Boulder, you can't do better than The Shop!
I have received nothing but the best service from The Shop Automotive. The entire team there (especially John!) is incredibly accommodating, friendly, honest, and very easy to work with. I live in Steamboat Springs, but would choose to take my car to Boulder to be worked on, just because these guys are so amazing. Best experience I've ever had with a shop. Thanks guys!!!
The Shop took care of my Subaru outback after a breakdown causing it to be towed. Jason and John were able to work within my budget, giving me an honest opinion of what was priority, and what fixes could wait on an old vehicle like mine. They stand behind their work, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. I have recommended them to friends, and am happy to have a trustworthy local mechanic shop.
The guys at The Shop rock! They've helped me a ton with my Sprinter van, even when I was having issues on a road trip and had to call them up / email them. Customer service is top-notch, vehicle repairs were spot-on; I'm very happy to have discovered The Shop knows how to work on Sprinters, they're definitely my go-to shop now!!!
These guys are great! I was about to drive my car across the country and my A/C went out. I was working with a tight schedule and within one day they had it back up and running. They deserve way more than five stars.
Thank you! I am so grateful to find a repair shop that is both HONEST and COMPETENT! The dealer did not correctly tighten my oil plug and my 1999 VW Beetle stated leaking oil. I feared the worst due to the age of my car. The folks at the Shop diagnosed the problem at no charge! Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to have a diagnosis done on my car without a hefty charge (like the VW Dealer!) I LOVE you guys! Thank you for the awesome service.
The Shop Automotive LLC is my go-to mechanical shop. They have taken excellent care of me and my Dodge Pickup. I have complete confidence in them. They are smart, competent, honest, and pleasant to deal with. The shop is clean, well-equipped, and professional in every regard. They never try to upsell you and if they say you need work, you need it. If you don't need it, they tell you so. You really can tell they are on the side of the customer.
I cannot say enough good things about the shop automotive. These guys are probably the most thorough, competent, honest and incredibly intelligent mechanics I have encountered. John, the owner, has great and extensive experience and know-how from his career as a mechanic and it shows when you talk to him about your own vehicle. Jason Patton (another mechanic at the shop automotive) is NASA mechanic smart. He really really knows his stuff and is extremely informed and passionate about his work. This is the kind of shop I want to do business with. Try them out, you won't go wrong.
