Cambridge Bicycle is an independently owned and operated shop on Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We’ve been proudly serving the local cycling community for 15 years with a full service repair area and an expansive selection of new bikes and accessories. Because we are locally owned, we can pick and choose stock from manufacturers that have proven themselves to our staff and customers.

Find another bike shop. Today I went in because I had a flat tire. I asked if they could check my tire to see if I needed to replace the tire (not just the inner tube). Instead, they took my whole bike, replaced the tube without telling me and charged me a $20 service fee (which I never would have accepted if they had told me a price estimate since I can fix my tires myself). When I went to check out, they were having system outage problems, so I waited in the store for another 15 minutes. They finally called me to the front and had me pay using square, but couldn't provide a receipt. I left the store and my axle was broken and my ball bearings fell out of my wheel hub. I don't know if my axle was already broken or if they broke it while "repairing" my bike tire (although I had no problems before I went into the store). Even if they weren't the ones who broke it, I was profoundly annoyed that no one noticed it or said anything to me about it. The store managers were friendly and polite, but no politeness can make up for the incompetence of the staff working in the repair shop. Thoroughly disappointed and will never come back to this store.

Great local bike shop and offering multiple services and variety of bikes. Rob was very friendly, informative and helpful. He spent quality time to help my wife and choosing the right bike. Highly recommend and definitely I would come back again.
I bought my bike here and Rob was fantastic with his knowledge and understanding of my needs. They installed the accessories that I brought to them and did a complete dealer prep of the bike before I rode it home. Everyone that works there was very friendly. Ken D.

damnnnnn! Your calves are on fleeeeek is not an uncommon I compliment after my regular patronage of Cambridge Bike Shop. For the past 7 years I've been able to consistently rely on the mechanics and staff to repair, tune, and recommend bikes with their friendly expertise. I spent a good 30 minutes with Jeremy today trying to find a bike. The one I looked at was a bit out of my budget, but I appreciated him taking as much time as he did to help me make a decision. It’s good to know we have a great bike shop so close by. Really great service!
Josh just set me up with a new commuter bike and all the accessories. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They put all the upgrade on and had me out the door in about an hour. They even threw in a free t-shirt.
