We are woom. Christian Bezdeka and Marcus Ihlenfeld in Europe began woom and Mathias Ihlenfeld (Marcus' brother) runs this USA branch in Austin, TX—we are a family business. We love bicycles and we love to make children happy. It started with a search for the perfect bike; we wanted to know exactly what makes the ideal children's bike. Our goal: build bikes that inspire children and their parents.

My 4 year old is loving his new Woom bike! I waited until the last minute to order and called the store to see if there was any way I could still qualify for one day shipping. While it was past the deadline, they assured me they would do everything to get the bike to me the following day for my son's birthday. And sure enough, it was on my doorstep the very next day and ready to go for his party that evening. The only problem is now I can't get him to come inside and stop riding his bike! Thanks so much for a great product and excellent customer service!
Woom bikes are simply amazing. Bought the woom 3 for my 4 year old son and he went straight from a balance bike to the woom 3, no training wheels and very little help from us. I believe this is because the bike is so light and engineered perfectly for his age. All the neighbors asked us how we got him riding so young and fast and we tell them it’s the bike! Of course we had to get our 6.5 year old daughter a woom 4 and all the other kids want to ride her bike even though it’s not a cute “character” bike. They can just tell wooms are cool bikes!
Well built bike, fast delivery, just a great overall experience so far. I bought a woom 2 back in April ‘18, and just upgraded to woom 3... My son went from his balance bike to woom 2, seamless transition just as advertised!
Our son received a Woom 2 this past Christmas and learned to ride it in about an hour. He's 3. He's been riding like crazy, up to 6 miles since then! We had a malfunction with the chain of his bike while on Shoal Creek trail which caused the pedals to stop working. BUT my wife brought it into the Woom headquarters and they fixed it right away. They also added new tires, a kickstand and new brakes. For free! We already loved Woom but this kind of service really puts them over the top!
Their woom 1 balance bike stands apart from other 'strider' bikes. Thoughtful design elements such as low step over and seat height allowed a 1 year old grandson barely walking to use the bike with help. Lightweight 6061 aluminum, real wheel sets with tubes, and safety elements such as steering limiter and pinch protection around hand grips and brake are unique to this brand. Hardest decision is which of the great colors to buy!
I came recommended by a local bike shop to help me with a seat issue for another brand balance bike. From the random dude carrying boxes when I came in through the door, Mathias (sp) who greeted me and Jeff who ultimately helped me out, super nice and positive experience. I would highly recommend this brand. The quality bikes is apparent and the company vibe was just overall excellent!
