Cool, expansive setup for one of the top local shops. Difficult, limited parking. Great for downtown residents or outdoor enthusiasts. Nicer gear than Bicycle Sport Shop, but less variety.

BIG BIG THANK YOU to JUDY!! She's honestly a life saver. She showed compassion to my husband and I when we were in desperate need of their shower service. Mellow Johnny's is lucky to have her! We will be back soon to purchase our first bikes, since we moved to Austin, just because of her!!

Mellow Johnny's is the most comprehensive bike shop in Austin. The staff is always helpful and they have an extremely wide selection in inventory. With the cafe and training facilities on site, it is truly a one stop shop for a cyclist.

Had a reservation for a 3-day rental for two bikes. The first day was a washout due to rain and they were VERY flexible and able to accommodate extending on the back end when weather was better. My wife experienced a crash when a gust of wind blew a piece of dead wood into her path of travel. The bike needed new bar tape and a brake hood. Pete replaced everything at cost and even asked how she was doing in the email with the invoice. MJs is a quality shop with great people!

Really cool part of Austin with not too pushy salesman. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the bikes and as a bike salesman myself that's very important.

Great shop with truly mellow people who know a ton about all things bikes and everything that goes with it. Coffee shop and showers make this place perfect.
